Rutini Antology XXXVIII: Argentine Elegance with a Global Spirit
A masterful blend of 35% Malbec from Altamira, 35% Malbec from Gualtallary, 10% Petit Verdot from Gualtallary, 10% Merlot from Altamira, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Gualtallary, crafted by Mariano Di Paola. Its 12-month aging in French oak (50% of the blend) imparts structure, complexity, and a 15-year aging potential.
From the first sip, it reveals a deep red color with bluish highlights. The nose captivates with floral violet aromas and ripe red fruits like cherry and sour cherry, intertwined with fresh mint and exotic spices. On the palate, its velvety and enveloping texture enhances the juiciness of Malbec, while the finish is long, refined, and unforgettable.
This wine is the perfect pairing for haute cuisine dishes, such as A5 Wagyu Filet Mignon with foie gras foam, Port wine reduction, and black truffles, Slow-cooked lamb with a spice crust, smoked eggplant purée, and red wine rosemary sauce, or Pressed duck with its own blood sauce, oriental spices, and caramelized apple purée. It also shines alongside a Dry-aged ribeye with bone marrow butter, wild mushroom chimichurri, and Comté cheese gratin potatoes.
Rutini Antology XXXVIII is the perfect balance between Argentine tradition and international excellence.
