Gran Enemigo Torrontés: Complexity in Evrey Glass

Discover Gran Enemigo Torrontés Single Vineyard, an enological gem crafted by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena at the prestigious Aleanna winery, located in Gualtallary, Mendoza. At an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, this white wine challenges the traditional expectations of Torrontés, known for its origins in northern Argentina, in the province of Salta.

This high-altitude Torrontés is characterized by its complexity and subtleties, reflecting the uniqueness of its mountainous terroir. Its fermentation in clay amphorae for 10 days, followed by 18 months aging in French oak with a veil, results in a fresh wine with herbaceous and citrus notes, along with mineral and dried fruit nuances.

Gran Enemigo Torrontés is perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes. Its acidity and enveloping texture make it ideal for accompanying fresh grilled fish, such as salmon or trout. It also pairs wonderfully with seafood, like shrimp and mussels, as well as fresh salads featuring citrus and herbs. For those who prefer more intense flavors, this wine is an excellent choice alongside spicy empanadas or offal dishes. With each sip, you'll enjoy a wine that celebrates the essence of its place, offering a unique and refreshing gastronomic experience. Don’t miss the chance to try it!
