Exclusive Wine: Trapiche Iscay Malbec Cabernet Franc

This Trapiche Iscay blend, made from Malbec and Cabernet Franc, is a sophisticated and elegant red wine, sourced from the vineyards of Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, and Los Árboles, Valle de Uco, Mendoza. Under the direction of renowned winemakers Daniel Pi, Sergio Case, and Diego Levada, this wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, enhancing its complexity and structure. It presents a deep violet-red color, with aromas of violets, ripe red fruits, subtle spicy notes, and generous tannins from the Malbec. The Cabernet Franc adds a touch of black fruits, balsamic notes, and tannins that structure the mid-palate, offering perfect balance.

This wine is an excellent choice for elaborate and high-end dishes. Pair it with a juicy New York Strip or an impressive Tomahawk, but it also shines alongside more sophisticated preparations like slow-cooked lamb with a red wine reduction sauce or a classic Beef Wellington. The 18-month aging process in French oak barrels lends the wine a nuanced, elegant character that pairs beautifully with intense flavors, such as wild boar ribs with truffle purée or pork belly glazed with honey and spices. For an even more exotic pairing, consider enjoying it with grilled confit duck breast or crocodile meat, creating a unique and unforgettable gastronomic experience
