Pequeñas Producciones Escorihuela Gascón Chardonnay – Refinement and Terroir Expression
Crafted in the prestigious regions of Agrelo and Altamira, Mendoza, this Pequeñas Producciones Chardonnay by Escorihuela Gascón is a sophisticated, limited-production interpretation of the varietal. Its 9-month aging in French oak barrels with fine lees adds unique complexity, balance, and a silky texture on the palate.
In the glass, it presents a bright golden-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of white fruits, citrus, ripe pineapple, with hints of vanilla and almonds from its time in oak. On the palate, it enters with a smooth and fresh sensation, offering vibrant acidity, excellent structure, and a long finish with subtle mineral and toasted notes.
It pairs beautifully with fresh, elegant dishes like white fish tiradito with leche de tigre and mango, grilled prawns with lemon and herb emulsion, asparagus risotto with Parmesan, or roasted chicken with mustard and toasted almonds. To fully appreciate its expression, it is best served at 10-12°C.
An expressive and sophisticated Chardonnay, reflecting the purity of the Mendoza terroir and the artistry of winemaking, perfect for the most discerning palates.
