Bodega Caro Petit Caro Blend 750ml – A Premium Mendoza Red Wine

Bodega Caro Petit Caro Blend is a refined Argentinian red wine born from the collaboration between Nicolás Catena and Baron Eric de Rothschild, uniting the French winemaking heritage of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) with the high-altitude terroirs of Mendoza.

This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Malbec comes from vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and Altamira (Uco Valley), located between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level. Under the guidance of winemaker Philippe Rolet, grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, then fermented in stainless steel tanks with gentle pump-overs to preserve freshness and structure. Half of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, while the rest matures in concrete vats, achieving balance and complexity.

In the glass, Petit Caro shows a deep ruby color with aromas of red fruits, figs, and blackcurrant. The palate is round, elegant, and silky, with soft tannins, notes of blueberries and blackberries, and a long, refined finish.

Perfectly suited to American fine dining, it pairs beautifully with Prime Rib, New York Strip Steak, bourbon-braised short ribs, or grilled lamb chops.
