La Posta Estela Armando Bonarda is a Single Vineyard wine sourced from Guaymallén, East Mendoza, crafted from a historic vineyard planted in 1964 by the Armando family. This site represents a rare expression of Argentina’s viticultural heritage and pays tribute to Estela Armando, whose dedication to preserving old vines helped safeguard Bonarda as one of the country’s most distinctive varietals.

Grown at an average elevation of 2,300 feet, the vines are rooted in shallow loamy clay soils with a gravel subsoil, naturally limiting yields and enhancing concentration. This terroir-driven approach results in a wine that is authentic, expressive, and deeply connected to its origin—an unmistakable example of old-vine Bonarda.

In the glass, the wine displays an intense ruby color with vibrant aromas of fresh red and black fruit, including raspberry, cherry, and blackberry, framed by subtly integrated oak. On the palate, layers of crushed red berries, dark plum, and black raspberry unfold seamlessly, complemented by refined notes of leather, dark chocolate, and a delicate touch of sandalwood on the elegant, lingering finish.
