Description

Some wines tell a story. Catena Zapata Malbec Argentino tells the story of an entire grape variety, its journey across continents, and the family that helped bring Argentine Malbec to the world stage. Elegant, deep, and beautifully expressive, this is a wine created as a tribute to heritage, identity, and high-altitude winemaking in Argentina.
From historic Catena vineyards in Mendoza, this Malbec combines tradition, precision, and emotion in every glass. The iconic label itself honors the rebirth of Malbec — from its origins in Cahors, France, to its renaissance in the Andes.
Crafted from old vines in the renowned Nicasia and Angélica vineyards, the wine undergoes cold maceration, extended fermentation, and aging in large oak foudres and concrete tanks for 15–18 months. The result is a balanced and refined Argentine Malbec with remarkable character and depth, created to stand alongside the world’s great wines.
Recognized internationally with 96 points from Robert Parker and James Suckling, this is a bottle made for unforgettable moments and true wine lovers.
